Our client, a leader in the renewables sector, is currently seeking a Senior Survey / Inspection Technician to join their Asset Integrity: Inspection Services team based in Kintore, Aberdeenshire. This permanent role plays a vital part in the delivery of offshore inspection campaigns, with a focus on activities such as mooring integrity inspections, 3D modelling, and visual inspections. The position primarily involves onshore responsibilities but requires periodic offshore travel, estimated at (Apply online only) days per year.



Key Responsibilities:


Onshore responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and calibration of equipment in line with project requirements
  • Developing and executing project documentation, including scope definition, operational procedures, and reporting
  • Conducting routine maintenance, calibrations, and repairs of systems and sensors
  • Developing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date operational procedures for inspection equipment and techniques


Offshore responsibilities include:

  • Managing offshore inspection projects, including equipment operation, data acquisition, and quality control
  • Providing technical support for offshore inspection operations, including troubleshooting equipment issues and data analysis
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures, with a strong focus on HSE&Q


You will be part of a project team, contributing to project success through technical expertise and operational support. As a representative of our client, you will display excellent customer service and actively participate in client safety and quality initiatives.



Job Requirements:

  • HND or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Engineering Systems, or relevant industry experience
  • Experience in maintenance, testing, and repair of inspection systems and sensors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of data communications, including serial and IP data configuration and hardware
  • Experience in executing offshore projects in a survey or inspection role
