Description
- Lead and execute sustainability initiatives within the department.
- Drive strategic and operational decisions in line with sustainability goals.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement sustainability policies and best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate sustainability into business operations.
- Monitor, report and communicate sustainability performance and impacts.
- Manage stakeholder relationships on sustainability matters.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in sustainability.
Profile
A successful Sustainability Manager should have:
Three years' work experience in ESG/sustainability
Ten+ years in a management role including leadership and advisory responsibility
TQUK Level 2 Certificate in Environmental Sustainability
Exceptional stakeholder skills, working collaboratively across matrix organisations
Experience in change / management, adaptable and highly alert to changing situations
Strong analytical skills with attention to details and technicalities
