Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Travel Agent to join our dynamic team in Aberdeen city centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for travel, excellent customer service skills, and a proven track record in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and personalized travel solutions to clients.
- Book flights, hotels, car rentals, and other travel services.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.
- Stay up-to-date with travel trends, destinations, and industry regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and suppliers.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a travel agent or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of travel booking systems and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends and evenings as required.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week
- Retail hours, with 2 weekends required per month
