Fleet Mechanic

Activus Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join a reputable quarry company based in Aberdeen. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance, servicing, and repairing HGVs, LGVs, trailers, and powder tankers both in workshops and on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair faults on a range of fleet vehicles

• Perform routine servicing and maintenance

• Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and PPE

• Carry out daily checks on lifting and plant equipment

• Follow all site safety procedures and protocols

• Keep work areas clean and waste disposed of correctly

• Complete all job sheets and reports accurately and on time

• Represent the company in a professional manner

• Support and mentor team members when required

Requirements:

• Experience with HGV/LGV repairs and diagnostics

• Understanding of vehicle maintenance standards

• Strong commitment to health & safety

• Full UK driving licence
