Are you a highly skilled and motivated Offshore Vessel Manager looking to work in a technical role working on interesting projects within a multi-million turnover ship building company who offer a great working environment and ongoing opportunities for progression?

Would you like to work for one of the UKs fastest growing fleets currently in the process of constructing 40 brand new vessels?

On offer is a Vessel Superintendent role where you will ensure that all owned and managed vessels are run in accordance with budgetary dictates and remain seaworthy according to applicable legislation and always remain "In Class."

This company operate within the offshore PSV and ERRV industry and operates the largest wholly UK-owned fleet engaged in supporting the UK's offshore Oil & Gas and offshore wind markets.

This flexible role would suit an Engineer from a marine background looking for an exciting and varied role within a well-established and growing company where you can increase your earnings through a generous bonus scheme.

The Role:

  • Ensure all shipboard mechanical, electrical, and navigational systems are operated and maintained safely and efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with SOLAS, IMO, Class & Flag administration regulations, and environmental legislation
  • Review and monitor vessel condition via electronic Engine Room Log sheets
  • Work closely with the Special Projects/Docking function to ensure timely completion of dry dock specifications and related orders
  • Maintain and update Planned Maintenance, Purchasing, and Defect Reporting systems both onboard and in-office

The Person:

  • Sea Going Chief Engineer, or equivalent, with relevant offshore support experience
