This employer has a range of diverse business interests, mainly Property.

You'll be supporting an interim Finance Director (full time or part time) who we are also looking to recruit.

You would be joining at a time when we are looking to modernise the Finance function, ensuring that optimum processes and controls are in place, and the systems fully utilised and fit for purpose, minimising the need for manual processes as much as possible.

So if you are an experienced Bookkeeper available for a swift start (possibly looking for a long term permanent move, although not essential) then this friendly, supportive team are keen to receive you.

The Role:

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Bank reconciliations and financial record-keeping.
  • Processing invoices, payments, and expenses.
  • Answering queries from Tenants.
  • Preparing financial reports and assisting with budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, including VAT returns.

About You:

  • Experienced in bookkeeping (property sector experience is relevant and valued but not essential).
  • AAT qualified, or QBE (qualified by experience).
  • Proficiency in accounting software - familiarity with Landmark accounting systems would be beneficial but is not required as training is given.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Motivated to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Possess a flexible mindset and the tenacity and patience required to work through change!
