A supportive and welcoming school in Monmouthshire is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will make a vital difference in the progress and academic development of pupils with ALN whilst supporting them in their social and emotional development.

Key responsibilities

Provide 1:1 support to children struggling with ALN and help students understand instructions.
Assist in implementing individual learning and support plans
Work alongside the classroom teacher and SEN team to create a positive working environment
Prepare, provide and deliver suitable learning materials.

Requirements:

Experience in a SEN setting (essential)
Experience working 1:1 with ALN pupils (desirable)
