About the Role:

As a Science Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our science laboratories are well-equipped and ready for exciting experiments and lessons. Your hands-on support will directly impact the educational experience of students, fostering a stimulating and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up scientific equipment and materials for lessons.
  • Maintain and manage laboratory resources and stock.
  • Provide technical support to teachers and students during experiments.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are met in the science labs.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of new science resources and experiments.

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

  • An A Level or equivalent qualification, or a BTEC HNC/HND, foundation degree, or higher in a science or technology subject.
  • A passion for science and a commitment to educational excellence.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
