Your new schoolHays are working with a secondary school in Blaenau Gwent with over 800 pupils to find a Science teacher. The school encourages the pupils to take a proactive and creative approach to learning allowing them to develop. The leadership team have a clear vision for the school and communicate it very well to create an inclusive ethos and a strong community feeling.Your new roleStarting ASAP, you will be a key part of the dedicated Science department including full teaching responsibilities such as:
- Teach KS3 - KS5
- Nurture a range of learning abilities
- staff meetings
- parent's evenings,
- pastoral responsibilities,
- planning and preparation of lessons
- marking and assessment.

- Qualified teaching Status or PCET with Science experience
- Experience of teaching science in a secondary school
- Proven track record of helping students
- Strong classroom management skills
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council
- Hold a DBS check on the update service or be willing to obtain one
