Our client has an opportunity for Senior Residential Support Workers to join our team in our children’s home in Abergavenny, supporting up to 4 Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Disorders. All homes are based in a semi-rural location to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for the individuals we support.

To be a successful Senior Residential Support Worker, you’ll need:

  • QCF/NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (Children and Young People).
  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Care.
  • A willing attitude and a caring, reliable nature.
  • Compassion and empathy.
  • Enthusiasm to promote independence and choice.
  • A strong work ethic, flexibility, self-motivation, and resilience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Due to the requirements of the role the minimum age requirement for the role is 22 years of age.
  • Full UK manual driving license (This is essential due to the needs of the Young People we support).
