As a Governance Officer, you will be:

  • Offering expert advice and guidance on governance-related matters to the board and Senior Leadership levels
  • Developing, implementing, and reviewing governance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
  • Coordinating and supporting various meeting and workshops
  • Assisting the Company Secretary in preparing and maintaining statutory registers, resolutions, and minutes of board meetings
  • Providing meeting and administration support, record keeping, responding to enquiries and requests and escalating concerns as and when required

To be considered for the Governance Officer job, you will need to evidence:

  • Strong advanced administration experience skills 
  • Experience of working effectively within guidelines/procedures while keeping information confidential
  • Proven experience in offering guidance and support
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • IT skills including typing, Microsoft packages, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • A team player with a collaborative approach and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organisation

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday for a period of up to 1 year, with flexi time (working in line with business needs).  This role is based in Abergele and you'll be on an annual salary starting around £33,600 per annum plus a range of employee benefits.
