Hays Accountancy & Finance are proud to be working with a fast-growing firm based in Aberlour who are looking to add an enthusiastic Payroll Admin Assistant to their team. This is a brand-new position due to company growth, therefore it's an exciting time to join the Finance team. The Payroll Admin Assistant role offers a salary of £24,000 per annum, is an office-based role in Aberlour, with a working pattern of 35 hours per week from Monday - Friday.

Your New Role

You will complete a variety of payroll responsibilities around a weekly payroll including processing & inputting timesheets, ensuring managers have provided you with required information and updating reports on a weekly basis. You will also be responsible for processing new starters and leavers to the payroll, ensuring they are paid accurately. Other duties will include dealing with pay queries, scanning all paper HR files and uploading HR documents to our system.

What You'll Need To Succeed

Payroll knowledge is preferred for this role, however previous Finance experience will be considered for this role. You should have excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and be proficient in working with spreadsheets. You must be able to work accurately to tight payroll deadlines, plus attention to detail is also a vital part of this role.
