  • A pro-active Commercial Manager role working closely with the Chief Sales Officer, managing and developing the Sales team.
  • First point of customer escalation for complaints, reviewing bookings and billings reports weekly.
  • Developing and being responsible for the Annual sales and bookings budget for key accounts.
  • Maintaining personal Account Management responsibility for selected key accounts and identifying new opportunities with new customers.
  • Requires previous experience in Sales Management or Commercial Management role in a CEM sales and technical environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY TASKS: 

  • A pro-active hand’s on Commercial Manager role working closely with the Chief Sales Officer. 

  • The role will manage, support and develop the Sales team of account Managers and CSR at My clients company. 

  • Manage and interpret customer expectations and general activity, heighten customer interaction by means of good communications and as and when required, customer visits and involvement with internal and off site customer meetings.  

  • Be 1st point of customer escalation when customer complaints or issues arise. 

  • Review bookings and billings reports on a weekly basis to ensure AV and MGP is maintained at budgeted level. 

  • Provide monthly report on KPI`s such as major quotes won and lost, New business opportunities. 

  • Develop and be responsible for the Annual sales and bookings budget for My clients COMPANYcustomers to be agreed with CSO.  

  • Maintain personal Account Management responsibility for selected key accounts and continue to build strong relationships with the key stakeholders. 

  • Identify and win new opportunities with new customers with support of Chief Sales Officer as appropriate.  

  • Cross sell EC Electronics capabilities to My clients customer base i.e pcb assemblies, overmoulding. 

  • Ensure new orders are entered on Sage within 24 hours where possible 

  • Ensure EES is utilised fully by the team and the sales pipeline is accurately maintained and grown. 

  • Work with Estimating team to ensure customer RFQ`s are responded to on time. 

  • Liaise and work closely with Estimating, Engineering, Purchasing, Quality and Operations departments on customer Technical, Material, Quality or Production issues. Along with key people at EC Electronics other sites 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 

Excellent Customer Communications. 

Computer Literacy. 

Negotiation skills, determination and persuasiveness. 

Excellent written and oral communication skills. 

An ability to manage workloads.   

Computer Skills- Must be experienced in the use of Word and Excel. 

Good command of the English language both verbally and writing. 

Excellent organisational and time management skills. 

Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure from a busy and varied workload. 

Strong Commercial Skills 

An ability to analyse and evaluate situations to produce a range of effective solutions to problems. 

EXPERIENCE: 

Previous experience in a Sales Management or Commercial Management role and/or  

Previous experience in a CEM sales and technical environment. 

A good working knowledge of the following process’s 

  1. Automated SMT PCB assembly  

  1. General PCB Assembly 

  1. Cable and Wire Harness assembly 

  1. Electronic components.
