Sales ManagerHealth & Fitness Club, Aberystwyth, Wales£27,000 to £30,000 plus bonus  A rare and exciting opportunity to lead the opening of a brand new health and fitness club as Sales Manager/Gym Manager in the beautiful seaside town of Aberystwyth! This is a unique opportunity to join an extremely fast-growing franchise business with big growth plans. The gym is a state-of-the-art boutique facility kitted out with top of the range equipment and technology. My client requires a dedicated and passionate Gym Manager who has a strong sales background within any industry. You will be focused on growing the membership base and delivering a superb member experience.The main responsibilities of the Gym Manager are:
  • Driving pre-sales and on-going sales as well as awareness campaigns in the local community
  • Focusing on member retention and high levels of customer service
  • Ensuring high standards of cleanliness and operating the club within guidelines
  • Managing, training and developing the in-club team
  • Developing marketing campaigns to attract new members while staying within budget
The candidate:
  • Highly driven with a positive and proactive attitude is a must
  • Ability to interact and be ‘hands on’
  • A background in fitness and membership sales management
  • A strong knowledge of the sales process and generating leads from internal and external sources
  • Ideally able to cover group exercise classes when required
