Shift Pattern: Continental 4 on / 4 off, 10am 10pm
Salary:£40,000 per year

What will you be doing?
- Conduct scheduled maintenance, repairs, and enhancements on machinery and equipment to ensure continuous production flow.
- Regularly monitor and inspect equipment, addressing any potential risks to safety or product quality, and report any issues immediately.
- Work in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager to carry out necessary repairs, preventative maintenance, and equipment checks.
- Handle various tasks across the production facility, including maintenance of boilers, pasteurisers, and processors, all while adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Perform basic plumbing, fabrication, and pipework as needed to support production needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed and coordinate stock levels of spare parts with team members.
Qualifications:
- City & Guilds in electrical and/or mechanical engineering
- Fabrication skills are beneficial
Experience:
- Proven background in an FMCG setting (experience in food manufacturing is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with machine maintenance and shift work
- Proficiency in MS Office for efficient record-keeping
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of manufacturing equipment and plant machinery
- Knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety standards
- Strong problem-solving skills, with an organised and methodical approach
- Self-motivated and proactive, with an ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
