Role and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the Process Engineering team's daily activities.
  • Facilitate the professional development of the Process Engineering team members.
  • Enable smooth communication between departments
  • Drive the success of new product introductions and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development, validation and verification of new processes for new products.
  • Deliver solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the production of supporting documentation for new processes and procedures.
  • Work within our Phase Gate structure and own the Design Transfer phase.
  • Work with new product development teams to advise on the design for manufacture.
  • Oversee the training of manufacturing staff on new processes, such as delicate mechanical, assembly, soldering, board programming and calibration.
  • Oversee the design, build and specification of manufacturing jigs, tools and equipment.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of new parts

Skills and Experiences

  • Experience leading a team.
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related subject.
  • Ability to travel

Desirable

  • Electronics assembly and soldering proficiency
  • Understanding of CE/EMC compliance principles
  • Programming experience
