Process Engineering Manager (Mechanical or Electronic) 

Aberystwyth – Office Based

Process Engineering Manager with either a mechanical or electronics background required for a market leading engineering company who are at the forefront of technology. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an employee owned and focused company.

The successful candidate will have a mechanical or electronics background and will have experience in product and process validation and verification. Experience with instrumentation equipment would be advantageous, however this role will suit candidates from any background working on the development of products with both mechanical and electronic integrations. Line management experience is essential for this role. 

Reporting into the Technical Director, the successful Process Engineering Manager will oversee a small team of three process engineers responsible for ensuring the repeatability of both new and updated products. You will lead the team through the qualification, verification and validation process, through the final build, calibration and test stages. 

Leadership experience is essential for this role as you will manage the day-to-day activities of the role and will actively coach and support the team’s development. 

The Process Engineering Manager Role: 

· Oversee a team of three
· Coordinate the process engineering team’s day to day activities
· Oversee development, validation and verification of new processes for new products to ensure repeatability
· Continuous improvements
· Oversee the documentation of supporting documents
· Oversee training and coaching of team
· Oversee design, build and specification of jigs, tools and equipment
· Working within an ISO9001 environment
 
The Process Engineering Manager Candidate:

· Experience working within an R&D environment – including experience in product and process validation and verification
· Mechanically or electronically biased
· Experience managing a team
· Any industry – must have experience working with products with mechanical and electronic integration
