Finance Controller

Pembrook Resourcing are currently recruiting a Finance Controller on behalf of our client.

The role;

  1. Timely production of accurate monthly Management Accounts - providing detailed analysis and commentary
  2. Investigative and analytical support across the business as required, evaluating profit optimisation
  3. On-going reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts to ensure assets are valued appropriately and all liabilities are recorded
  4. Manufacturer Composite Data submission to allow comparison with other businesses within the industry
  5. Enforcement of constant debtor and creditor controls to ensure cash flow does not compromise the operation of the business - hold aged debt meetings as appropriate to hold relevant managers accountable
  6. Review and approval of all payments to ensure they are fully documented and authorised in accordance with Hartwell Limits of Authority.
  7. Vehicle deal file audits to ensure compliance with FCA regulations and manufacturer MPS support requirements
  8. Provision of data in a timely and detailed manner to HO as required for year-end audit purposes
  9. Compilation and validation of annual budget submission
  10. Collation and submission to HO of all payroll requirements to meet monthly deadlines, including all contractual details, full and accurate information relating to starters and leavers and commission calculations.
  11. Assisting managers and minute taking in disciplinary procedures and preparation of all related documents.
  12. Management of Finance and Vehicle Admin teams and of all associated processes
  13. Various Ad Hoc duties to assist the dealerships management team to perform their roles effectively
  14. Upholding and enforcing all Hartwell policies and procedures to ensure consistency across all sites - whistleblowing as/when necessary
