We are delighted to be working with an exciting business based near Abingdon that are looking for a Financial Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous experience to join a small but dynamic finance team. Offering flexible hybrid working and a salary of £55,000 - £65,000 (depending on experience).

This key role in a small finance team, providing weekly and monthly updates on the company's financial status, key responsibilities:

  • Preparing monthly UK and US management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Maintaining revenue recognition and revenue deferral schemes
  • Producing the monthly group consolidation including currency revaluation and preparing the group reporting pack
  • Preparing a bi-weekly consolidated cashflow
  • Liaising with the People Team and external payroll provider to process the monthly payroll uploads and reconciliation of resulting payroll registers
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Assisting Group Finance Director with annual audit and tax requirements and with preparation of UK and group financial statements

What they're looking for:

  • Previous experience of preparing group consolidations
  • Strong management accounts experience
  • Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
  • Excellent communication skills
