Reed Practice are currently supporting a fast growing practice based in South Oxfordshire who are looking for an Accountant to join their team. This firm specialise in offering services to clients with Financial Services and have more than quadrupled in size over the past two years and are showing no signs of slowing down.

  • Responsibility for a portfolio of clients for who you will take ownership of producing monthly, quarterly and yearly deliverables and maintaining the client relationship
  • Regular communication with clients to ensure deliverables are accurate and timely including responses to client queries, coordinating with other team members to provide a response where necessary.
  • Preparation of monthly/quarterly client management accounts comprising processing of purchase and sales invoices, recording bank transactions, preparing and posting general ledger journal entries, maintenance of schedules supporting and reconciling balance sheet items.
  • Preparation of required tax returns for filing with HMRC including, VAT, corporation tax, partnership tax and P11ds.
  • Preparation of FCA returns utilising data from the client’s management accounts on a half yearly/quarterly basis
  • Preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with FRS102 or IFRS, including consolidated and LLP financial statements.
  • Liaison with client and their auditors to ensure timely filing of their audited financial statements.
  • Coordination with colleagues to ensure efficient and timely delivery of client deliverable
