Our client is recruiting for an Office & Facilities Manager, the primary place of work and main focus will be our HQ in Abingdon. However, you will also have oversight of our other four premises across the UK & Ireland (Wakefield, Port Glasgow, Dublin, and Wales), ensuring they are well maintained and compliant with necessary regulations. This role is office based but can be 4 days a week.This role can be full time or part time, depending on the right candidate. Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:-Office Management Office & Facilities Manager:* Oversee all aspects of day-to-day office operations, ensuring the workspace is fully stocked with necessary supplies, such as stationery, kitchen essentials, and IT peripherals.* Manage relationships with key office service providers, including cleaners, waste management, and utilities suppliers.* Act as the first point of contact for incoming post, deliveries, and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming reception experience.* Answer and manage the guest phone, directing calls as appropriate.* Ensure a clean, organised, and functional office environment, proactively resolving any operational challenges.* Act as the primary point of contact for any office-related issues and resolve any operational challenges promptly.Facilities Management for Office & Facilities Manager:* Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our HQ in Abingdon, as well as our offices and warehouse sites across the UK & Ireland.* Coordinate with contractors and service providers for maintenance, security, cleaning, and general building services and to address any facilities-related issues or repairs.* Monitor and manage building access systems, security, and safety procedures, ensuring that all employees and visitors follow protocols.* Conduct regular site inspections to identify any required repairs or improvements. * Ensure all facilities comply with health and safety (H&S) regulations, including: o Conducting fire risk assessments and ensuring compliance with fire safety standards.o Managing workplace risk assessments and addressing any H&S concerns.* Support the Head of People in ensuring the wellbeing of staff by promoting a healthy and safe work environment.About youTo be successful in this role, you will need to be highly organised and proactive. We are seeking someone able to work independently and collaborate with multiple departments.
