Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced CNC Miller (Setter) to work for an Industrial organisation in Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Role: CNC Miller (Setter)

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Salary: £19 per hour

Hours: 37 - hour week (4.5 days)

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Miller (Setter):

  • CNC Machining, and setting
  • Operation of 3,4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines.
  • Performing CMM inspection and production of inspection reports when required.
  • Using initiative to improve quality/throughput etc.
  • Working to scheduled lists.
  • Operate within a 5's manufacturing environment and to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality standards.

About you:

  • Experience of working with a variety of materials to tight tolerances
  • Thorough experience of multi axis CNC machining
  • Use of inspection tools and CMM desirable.
  • Thorough experience of reading & interpreting component drawings and instructions
  • Working to high quality standards
