My client, a growing developer, is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager for a new modular build scheme in Milton Heights - Oxfordshire. My client has developed the concept of a climate positive home. Their homes set a new standard for low carbon construction, coupled with energy efficiency and low carbon living

This would be an ideal role for an experienced No1 SM or No2 who has run similar schemes with either modular build, traditional build or timber frame knowledge.

Duties,

  • No1, reporting to the CD
  • Supporting the day to day running of the scheme
  • Providing clear direction to the on-site construction team regarding responsibilities and targets
  • Will work towards looking after more schemes for the business
  • Ensuring the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme
  • Providing accurate and regular reports on progress and dates
  • Controlling additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure
  • Driving through quality at every stage of the construction process
  • Ensuring the development pass internal and external inspection processes
  • Ensuring all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to
  • Taking responsibility for self-development and the development of others
  • Monitoring and controlling the quality of production and approve stage completions to payments to subcontractors
  • Ensuring any remedial work is completed prior to occupation
  • Ensuring customer service remains of the highest priority at all times with everyone on site

Qualifications,

  • Experience of working on timber-frame, carbon neutral bespoke schemes, modular would be an advantage but not essential
  • Experience of being a No1 on site
  • CSCS,
  • First Aid
