KiddyKare are recruiting a Nursery Teacher to join a lovely setting in Abingdon.

The role would beteachingchildren aged 2-4 years in a private day care setting.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high qualityteachingfor children aged between 2 and 4 years in preparation for school.

You will be evaluating outcomes to target individual children who need additional support, and plan activities based on their level of learning with support from the area SENCO and Vulnerable children coordinator.

They require input and suggestions on ways to improve levels of education and care across thenurserysetting.

  • Be a role model for all staff in how toteachchildren through structured and planned activities, in accordance with the EYFS.
  • Plan observe and assess the childrens development as a result of theteachingactivities carried out. Collecting observations, and ensuring they are shared with the childs key person.
  • Use observed knowledge to meet the needs of children who need additional support. Such as EAL, SEN or those working above.
  • Support in preparing all children for school readiness. E.G., independent skills, phonics, reading, maths and working towards early learning goals.
