A new role for a Junior Manufacturing Technician has been created by a rapidly expanding scientific instrumentation manufacturer in Abingdon (OX14), providing cutting edge solutions to the most high tech industries.
Joining a small team, the Junior Manufacturing Technician will take advantage of extensive training to build on pre-existing experience in high precision electromechanical assembly work including wiring, soldering and cable assemblies.
Junior Manufacturing Technician key responsibilities:
- Working to an extremely high standard with a team of highly skilled Technicians and Engineers to build and test complex electromechanical assemblies and sub- assemblies working to manufacturing and engineering documents
- Hand soldering, working to IPC Standards
- Producing cable assemblies
- Some opportunity to contribute to process improvement
The ideal Junior Manufacturing Technician will have exceptional attention to detail with good experience in precision manufacturing and an eagerness to learn new skills at pace. There is a good salary on offer in addition to benefits including private health cover and a generous share scheme.
