The Selexa Group are partnered with a leading Engineering & Tech client based in Oxford, supporting the growth and expansion of their already high-performing R&D function with the addition of a number of Electronics Engineers.

The Junior Electronics Engineer will work in an established team of experienced Electronics and Systems Engineers, supporting innovation and product development processes of next generation products.

The role will work within the Electronics team to support and facilitate problem-solving to develop complex instrumentation including electromechanics, motion control systems, precision mechanics, software and vacuum systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting electronics design and development
  • Working handson with test equipment to prove performance of design
  • Set up and build test equipment, systems and circuits, analyse and interpret data/results
  • Design and build analogue and mixedsignal circuit design

Qualifications:

  • BSc/BEng Electronics Engineering, Apprenticeship or engineering pathway

Skills & Experience:

  • Hands on experience in circuit programming, lab work and testing
  • Soldering, assembly, troubleshooting and PCB design experience
  • Basic Electronics knowledge, power supplies etc
  • Projects knowledge involving electronics systems
  • Basic understanding electronics circuits theory
  • Basic understanding of electrical safety and lab work/testing
  • Electronics design knowledge with analogue design
  • PCB Design skills
  • Exposure to EMI/EMC testing
