- Ensure strict adherence to GD&T standards in quotes, specifications, and product deliveries, maintaining "right first time" quality and safety protocols.
- Accurately estimate parts and assemblies based on engineering drawings and digital data, capturing all GD&T requirements. Prepare detailed, high-quality quotes with clear narratives.
- Act as the primary technical contact for assigned accounts, managing contracts from inception to completion. Monitor profitability and suggest cost improvements where necessary.
- Lead new business projects with robust planning, documentation, and a focus on continuous improvement.
- Procure materials to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets while managing the supply chain for maximum efficiency. Address and resolve supplier performance issues.
- Utilize scheduling software to allocate work orders efficiently, ensuring timely project execution and regular stakeholder updates.
- Deliver outstanding service by maintaining clear, open communication with clients and internal teams.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Participate in ongoing training and development activities.
- A strong mechanical engineering background with expertise in GD&T, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Apprenticeship-trained or a similar technical qualification is essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and IT skills.

- Prior experience in a technical estimating or commercial role within engineering/manufacturing is preferred. Experience in subcontract machining is highly advantageous.
