We are looking for a dedicated Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a local Nursery team in Abingdon and provide exceptional care for children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering their development.

Role Details:

  • Location:Abingdon, Oxfordshire
  • Position: Full-Time, Contract to Perm
  • Pay: £83.50 - £90 per day
  • Start Date: September or after October half term.

About the Role: As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and education to children aged 0 to 5 years. Your role will involve planning engaging activities, monitoring developmental progress, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate activities for EYFS children
  • Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining detailed records
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ensure the nursery environment is safe, clean, and engaging
  • Support children's emotional and social development

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or equivalent (essential)
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in an EYFS role
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Driving licence preferred (for travel within Abingdon)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
