We are proud to partner with Whittard of Chelsea in their search for an Export & Logistics Co-ordinator to join their B2B team at their stunning Didcot-based offices.Whittard is passionate about bringing luxury tea and coffee to our communities, they have been achieving this goal since 1886, and have ambitious objectives to grow the business with each role being key in delivering these. The Export & Logistics Co-ordinator role is a newly created role to support the global expansion and support the B2B Sales Team.

Working closely with the B2B Sales, Commercial Planning and Operations teams you will process and schedule B2B orders, prepare export documentation and collate key reports for stakeholders. The role is a mixture of operational and communication tasks which require someone who is a natural multitasker with great attention to detail, focused and result driven. Please note this role is hybrid and you will be based in the Milton Park (OX14 4SH) office 3 days a week. For you induction period of 12 weeks you are required to be in the office for training 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Process confirmed customer orders, by:
    • Entering orders in the system, liaising with Commercial Planning to match to stock, sending to warehouse and following through to dispatch and invoicing.
    • Tracking order statuses and feeding back to B2B Sales team their progress and likely shipping date.
    • Working closely with the warehouse to ensure timely despatch of orders within the agreed internal SLA.
    • Providing the Finance Team with the relevant information to raise proforma invoices and produce final financial and commercial invoices once orders have shipped.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Ensure key documents and reports are updated and shared with stakeholders

About You

  • Export understanding would be advantageous
  • Retail/B2B background and/or customer service experience
  • Have advanced Excel skills
  • Be numerical, logical, and accurate with good attention to detail even under a pressured environment
  • Being structured and organised is a must
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style
