Rapier Employment is seeking a Yard Operative for a temporary to permanent position in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, due to client expansion.
The salary for this role is £13.00 per hour.
Candidates must have experience in mechanical engineering and possess good communication and time management skills.
A full UK driving licence is required, and while a CSCS Card is desired, training will be provided.

Rapier Employment are recruiting for a Yard Operative to join our well-established client on a temporary to permanent basis due to their recent expansion.Job role: Yard OperativeSalary: £13.00 per hourLocation: Abingdon, OxfordshireDuties to include, but not limited to:

Ensure that the washer is maintained and cleaned on a regular basis.
Ensure that the pre-use start up and shut down checks are completed daily.
Complete daily paperwork to give to supervisor on shift.
Ensure items are ready for distribution by washing and storing in correct locations.
Support inventory management for tools and spare part stores, keeping track of all tools issues and returned.

Full training will be provided, with development opportunities and ability to progress within the company.Required:

Experience of mechanical engineering.
Good communication skills and time management.
A full UK driving licence required.

Desired:

CSCS Card - training to be provided.
Experience with hand and power tools including but not limited to drills, chisels, circular saws, jig saws, routers, grinders, and plastic welding extruders.
