A thriving primary school in Abingdon are looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant to join them in ASAP or January. The school are looking for someone who is eager and passionate about the education of young people. The successful candidate will be employed for the rest of the academic year as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. If you are graduate, then this is the perfect role for you!

In the position of a Teaching Assistant, you will support in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2. The focus will be on numeracy and literacy support. The graduate will take small groups to ensure the children are on task and meeting the learning objectives set by the teacher. SEN experience or understanding is a bonus, as this role involves supporting children with mild levels of autism and dyslexia within the school.

The ideal graduate will have achieved a 2:2 or above in their degree (preferably psychology, criminology or other academic subjects). Experience working with young people whether it be in a similar environment, youth work or sport is desirable but not a necessity. They are looking for a pro-active, organised, and ambitious Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant.

The graduate must have recently passed University in the last 5 years.
