Interim HR Advisor
  • Hourly Rate: £22.00 - £26.00 per hour PAYE via Reed
  • Location: Near Abingdon, Oxfordshire (on-site position 5 days)

We are currently seeking an experienced Interim HR Advisor to join our clients team for a 3-month period. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive HR support, delivering exceptional advisory services across the organisation, supporting the Head of HR. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide advice and guidance on a range of HR issues including policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Support line managers with employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of HR initiatives to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help manage recruitment processes, including drafting job descriptions, screening candidates, and organising interviews.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Participate in HR projects and support the HR team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an HR Advisor or similar HR role.
  • Knowledge of current employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • CIPD qualification is desirable but not essential.
