Interim HR Advisor - Until end of June 2025
  • Pay: £16.91 - 18.42 per hour 
  • Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire - Four days in the office, one from home
  • 37 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 08.30-17.00, Friday 08.30-16.30

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver expert advice on employment matters including absence management, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, and employment legislation.
  • Manage helpdesk and casework activity with precision and efficiency.
  • Support recruitment, training, and development programs to empower staff.
  • Promote wellbeing and contribute to an inclusive workplace culture.
  • Collaborate closely with teams like Payroll to ensure smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a people advisory role, ideally within education or a commercial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.
