Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for a committed and experienced HR Advisor to work for a company in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.

Role: HR Advisor - Temporary until June/July 2025

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 - Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.24 per hour

Key Responsibilities of the HR Advisor:

  • Advising managers on all aspects of people management, including HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Leading on employee relations matters with confidence and care, ensuring fair and consistent handling of all cases.
  • Supporting the delivery of strategic HR initiatives that align with the organisation's goals and values.
  • Contributing to the development of an open, inclusive, and values-led organisational culture.
  • Engaging with various stakeholders across the organisation to foster a supportive and collaborative work environment.

About you:

  • Proven generalist HR experience, ideally within the education or public sector.
  • CIPD qualification Level 5 or equivalent.
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to address and manage complex issues effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills, capable of providing clear and effective guidance in a variety of HR matters
