About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated 2nd Line Support Engineer to join our team for a 3-month contract. You will be working across multiple environments, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and educational institutions, providing high-quality IT support to a variety of users. The role requires quick problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and technical expertise in managing IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first and second-line support to end users in both education and MSP settings.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot devices such as laptops, desktops, and printers.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other systems.
Install and configure software and ensure all systems are running smoothly.
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring users are supported effectively and efficiently.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience in IT support roles, ideally within MSP and education environments.
Strong troubleshooting skills with experience in Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory.
Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to different sites across Norfolk.

Contract Details:

250 per day (Inside IR35).
3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
Immediate start available.
