Are you a logistics coordinator with experience working for a manufacturing company?

You will be working for a well-established and highly profitable SME that supports a range of blue chip customers within the nuclear industry. This is a key hire where you will assume responsibility for all aspects of the logistics operation and have the opportunity to implement your own ideas for process improvements.

This role would suit someone who has a background in logistics and is looking for more responsibility, whilst becoming a specialist in a niche working environment where you will be handling dangerous goods and require security clearance, which will be fully funded by the employer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for arranging the import / export of goods, facilitating export with the freight forwarder, client transport manager, customs etc. You will organise the delivery and collection of goods within the supply chain, as well as managing the receipt / inspection of goods, along with associated record preparation. Additionally, you will manage the received goods into stock, including physical location and retrieval from designated stock areas.

- Managing the full logistics operation of a unique and interesting business in Abingdon

The Person:
- Experience working as a Logistics Coordinator or similar
- Has a background in a manufacturing environment - Desirable
- Holds a UK driving licence and is happy to travel within the role when required
- Able to obtain basic SC Clearance
