Rapier Employment is seeking Class 1 drivers (trampers) for a position in Abingdon with potential for a temp to perm role.
The salary for this position is £16.50 per hour, with overtime pay at £24.75 per hour after 45 hours worked.
Candidates must have a full UK licence (Cat C+E), a CPC Card, a Digi Card, and at least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
The work schedule includes Monday to Friday with flexibility for day, night, and occasional weekend shifts.
Responsibilities include operating lorries, ensuring safe loading and unloading of cargo, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

Operate lorries to transport goods and plant to designated locations
Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
Maintain accurate paperwork
Ability to work with some flexibility for the start times
Be able to do nights out when required
Full PPE supplied

Requirements:

Full UK licence (Cat C+E)
CPC Card
Digi Card
12 months Class 1 experience

Beneficial but not essential:

Experience doing load restrain inspections
Experience of Wagon & Drag
CSCS card but full training will be provided
Plant mover & loader securer
