As a Qualified Teaching Assistant, you are responsible for:

To help the Year 2 teachers prepare materials
To set up classrooms ready for cross circular lessons
Working with individual students and small groups - for a more tailored approach.
To watch, record and report the progress students make. Communicating with the class teacher.
To look after Year 2 students who are upset or unwell, with a key focus on wellbeing and safeguarding.
To lead classes and activities with help from the teacher
To work closely with families and carers

Qualificatons/Certifications:

NVQ 3 Teaching Assistant (or similar)
Higher Level Teaching Certificiate
Driving Licence (prefered)
2 years minimum experience in a TA/LSA or similar role.
SEN knowleage/certificates is an added bonus.
