Our client is recruiting for a Manual Machinist to join their growing team! They are leaders in their field and offer support to their customers from concept to commissioning.

Manual Machinist Roles and Responsibilities:

Produce parts to tight tolerances, using engineering drawings as guides
Carry out turning, boring, trepanning, roughing and finishing operations
Working with Stainless Steel, alloys, brass, copper and plastics
Working on standard sized manual lathe - be willing to learn to use larger machines such as Binns & Berry and Horizontal Borer

The Ideal Manual Machinist will:

Ability to use large lathes
Be able to perform turning, boring, trepanning, roughing & finishing operations
Be able to read and work from engineering drawings
Preferably be a time served apprentice with a couple of years post apprenticeship experience
Be self-motivated and enthusiastic towards tasks

Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
156 hours holiday, plus bank holidays
