A friendly and welcoming Special Needs School near Abingdon are looking for a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time and help support their students. The pupils at this school have a range of additional needs, including Autism, communication difficulties and complex needs. For this reason, the students need a Teaching Assistant who is caring, supportive, friendly and non-judgemental - if you possess these qualities, then the school need you!

As a Complex Needs Teaching Assistant, you will help support a small class of up to 10 students, alongside the class teacher and other Teaching Assistants. You will help support the students with different forms of learning, including cooking, swimming, sensory play and physical activities. You will also help with personal care and mobility support, and also provide emotional support to all the students.

The school are looking for a bubbly and vibrant Teaching Assistant, with a passion for special educational needs. Any previous experience working with children and/or adults with disabilities would be great, but personality is the most important factor. The school are ideally looking for someone who is able to start straight away, and can commit to full time (Monday to Friday).
