Are you a talented and skilled Systems Development Manager looking for an exciting opportunity in the police industry? Our client, a leading organisation in South Oxfordshire, is seeking a passionate individual to join their team inCulham.

As a Systems Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the continuous improvement of the BPSS systems deployed by our client and their users. You will be responsible for ensuring that systems are available, fit for purpose, updated, supported, and that staff are appropriately trained in their use. Additionally, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to implement changes and drive forward continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the forward schedule of change, ensuring effective planning, testing, and implementation of change requests.Ensure compliance with security practises, guidelines, and standards.Develop and maintain trusted relationships with suppliers, partners, vendors, and customers.Collaborate with business areas to understand challenges and implement solutions to meet them.Support the development and implementation of system improvements and investments.Maintain system documentation and communication channels.Identify, prioritise, and implement regular upgrades to ensure optimal system performance.

Qualifications:

Relevant IT/professional services qualification, or willingness to attain ITIL.Relevant Change Management qualification.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities.Ability to work independently and proactively.
