Are you a dedicated and experienced RMN/RNLD looking for the opportunity to make a difference in a young person's life? Are you looking for competitive pay rates of up to £20.30 per hour and the option to work day OR night shifts?

A residential psychiatric and mental health service in Accrington is looking for RMNs/RNLDs to join their well-established team. The service provides optimal care and treatment for young people with mental health needs and promotes independence by offering individual rooms and a peaceful, secure environment for recovery. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to ensure young people receive the best quality care and support.

Nurse Requirements:Job Requirements:
  • Confident, autonomous practice, taking responsibility for care and overseeing less experienced staff.
  • Working with young people and families throughout the care planning process.
  • Acting as a patient advocate in a multi-disciplinary team and overseeing others to ensure they meet the young person's needs.
  • Ensuring all medications, including controlled drugs, are ordered, stored, administered, and disposed of according to the Organisation's Medicines Policy, NMC, and CQC guidance.
  • Full awareness of emergency procedures and preparedness to take a lead role in any acute or non-clinical emergency.
  • Ensuring residents receive an excellent standard of care at all times.
  • Safeguarding of adults and children, following the Organisation's whistleblowing policy.
  • Understanding, respectful, and dignified approach. A positive and proactive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile is essential.
  • Leading nursing assistants, providing excellence in clinical practice, and ensuring residents' rights to privacy, dignity, choice, autonomy, and safety are promoted.
  • Understanding the value of and promoting a stimulating and enriching environment conducive to the well-being of residents.
Essential Qualities and Qualifications:
  • NMC Pin (RMN/RNLD)
  • Experience working with young people
  • Nursing qualification
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
