Are you passionate about quality excellence in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment? We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team and help ensure our aircraft engine components meet the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance.

As our Quality Engineer, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and improving our Quality Management Systems while supporting operations across the business. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a global aerospace manufacturing company committed to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal and external audits (Systems, Supplier & Product) and maintain a rolling audit plan
  • Lead problem investigations to identify and correct non-conformances
  • Review supplier concessions, production permits, and First Article Inspection Reports
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends, potential risks, and improvement opportunities
  • Generate and manage key quality metrics including Escapes, Scrap, Rework, and Right First Time
  • Create and manage the internal audit plan, ensuring all auditors are properly trained
  • Update quality procedures and work instructions within the Quality Management System
  • Support shop floor personnel as a quality subject matter expert
  • Participate in business improvement activities and process improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in aerospace/aviation manufacturing or equivalent technical background
  • Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong knowledge of quality and process standards relevant to aerospace manufacturing
  • Proven auditing skills and experience
  • Data-driven problem-solving capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Commitment to workplace safety and environmental health
  • Track record of delivering measurable results
