Job Title: Power Press Setter
Location: Blackburn, Lancashire
Working Hours: 7am - 5pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: c£32,000 + dependant on experience

Position Overview:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Power Press Setter to join their dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring the efficient operation of power press machinery and maintaining high standards of production quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Tool Changing - Set up and change tools on power press machines to prepare for different production runs.
Optimisation - Continuously monitor and optimise machine performance to ensure maximum efficiency and output.
Troubleshooting - Diagnose and resolve issues with power press machines promptly to minimise downtime.
Fault finding - Conduct fault finding procedures on equipment to identify and fix mechanical and electrical issues.
Maintenance - Perform routine maintenance and inspections on power press machines to ensure their proper functioning.
Quality Control - Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Safety Compliance - Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience as a Power Press Setter in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills, with the ability to perform tool changes, optimisation, troubleshooting, and faultfinding.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production requirements.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
