We’re working with a well-established engineering company in Accrington, looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join their growing team.

They are now looking for a skilled Credit Controller to replace a retiring team member. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone seeking stability, opportunity to learn new skills and the chance to be part of a business that truly appreciates its employees.
What you’ll do:
- Manage outstanding debtor accounts and keep customer records accurate and up to date.
- Perform credit assessments for new customers to evaluate their financial reliability.
- Negotiate payment arrangements for overdue balances with a professional and friendly approach.
- Monitor the daily cash balances on the bank and understand the cash flow position in relation to outstanding debt.
- Provide regular credit control reports and updates on progress
- Foster and maintain positive relationships with both customers and key internal stakeholders.
- Effectively manage collection time frames pro-actively over the phone and via email.
