Teaching Assistant - Accrington

Looking for a fulfilling Teaching Assistant opportunity in Accrington? Look no further! A mainstream secondary school is currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to start ASAP for a Long-Term placement. This is a full time, long-term role with a daily rate of £90 - £100 per day.

As part of this role, you will be responsible for 1-1 support with students with SEMH needs and supporting in the isolation (behaviour) unit within the school. The ideal candidate will have strong behaviour management and experience working with SEMH needs.

In addition to a supportive ethos, this school also has a strong leadership team, providing you with a fantastic opportunity to work with experienced professionals who are dedicated to your success. Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

  • Hold teaching qualification
  • Experience working with KS3 and KS4 students
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover full work history from secondary school and onwards
