Description
- Developing and executing a strategy for an efficient FP&A function to support business scale and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Leading financial planning processes, including monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and forecasting.
- Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing confidence in decision-making.
- Implementing financial models to drive strategic decisions and improve profitability.
- Standardising financial processes and KPIs to support business growth and continuous improvement.
- Analysing customer margins, revenue streams, and product profitability to optimise sales efficiency.
- Managing Board reporting with insightful commentary on financial and non-financial measures.
- Identifying and tracking risks and opportunities, collaborating across teams to mitigate and capitalise on them.
- Educating the wider business on FP&A practices and promoting a culture of financial excellence.
- Leading change initiatives and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration throughout the business.
Profile
The successful candidate will be an ambitious, analytical leader with strong communication skills and experience in financial planning and analysis. They will have expertise in driving strategic insight, managing financial processes, improving systems, and fostering cross-functional collaboration, ideally within a fast-paced, private equity-backed environment. Experience in manufacturing and standard costing is a plus.
