This is a brilliant opportunity for a Head of FP&A to join a fast-growing & market leading, Private Equity backed SME as a trusted right-hand to a high calibre CFO and Executive team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the business achieve its target of driving a 50% increase in the EBITDA, through enhancing the FP&A function to provide clear visibility and commercial insight.

My client are a successful, Private Equity backed Manufacturing business who are in a pivotal point post investment. You will play an integral role in maximising the potential entreprise value of the business.

Description

  • Create and execute a strategy to build an efficient and commercially orientated FP&A function to facilitate the continued scale of the business and ensure a 'no surprises' reporting environment.
  • Take full responsibility and oversight for leading all financial planning processes, covering monthly Board reporting, annual budgeting and regular reforecasts.
  • Maintain active dialogue and establish strong working relationships with external stakeholders, providing confidence in future decisions made.
  • Develop and implement the appropriate financial models which are fit for purpose to support and drive strategic decisions.
  • Identify areas of improvement, developing and implementing standardisation of financial processes, reporting and KPI metrics to support business growth, adopt a culture of excellence and continual improvement.
  • Support the CFO, Head of Production, Supply Chain, Operations, Head of Sales and other business functions, with the review and analysis relating to customer margins, revenue streams and product profitability, supporting sales efficiency to continuously maximise profits.
  • Manage and develop all aspects of Board reporting with analysis and insightful commentary on both financial and non-financial measures, ensuring KPIs are informative to enable accurate understanding of the business's performance.
  • Identify and track trading risks and opportunities, working with other areas of the business to mitigate risks and maximise opportunities.
  • Educate the wider business on the importance of visibility from an FP&A perspective, understanding individuals' skill sets and providing them with the tools they need to challenge, succeed, and deliver.
  • Be an advocate for change and improvement across the company, always striving for 'best in class'.

Profile

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified Accountnat
  • Manufacturing experience would be desirable
  • An understanding of standard costing within a manufacturing environment, with the systems knowledge to support standard cost reviews and rollups.
  • Having working a PE environment or fast paced environment previously
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
