About the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) cover teacher to join our supportive and welcoming primary school in Darwen. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is looking for a new challenge and to make a real impact on students' learning.
The successful candidate will cover PPA time across Key Stage 2, working with different year groups to deliver high-quality lessons. You will be responsible for planning and preparing lessons, ensuring they align with the curriculum and meet the individual needs of all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 2
- Ensure a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
- Use assessment to inform planning and provide feedback to pupils
- Collaborate with other teachers to share best practices and resources
- Provide high standards of teaching and learning to support pupil progress
- Uphold the values and ethos of the school
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have experience teaching across Key Stage 2
- Be passionate about making a difference in the lives of children
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be adaptable, proactive, and a good communicator
