- Position: Upholsterer
- Salary: £13.86 per hour
- Experience Required: Experience working with various fabrics and materials
- Responsibilities: Fabricate and assemble upholstered furniture pieces, sew, cut, and attach fabric or leather, utilize hand and power tools, perform heavy lifting, ensure quality standards
- Skills: Proficient in fabricating and assembling upholstered furniture, mechanical knowledge, experience in a warehouse setting advantageous, ability to sew, cut, and attach fabric or leather with precision, capable of heavy lifting
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble upholstered furniture pieces according to specifications
- Sew, cut, and attach fabric or leather to furniture frames
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete upholstery tasks
- Perform heavy lifting when moving furniture pieces within the warehouse
- Ensure all upholstery work meets quality standards and deadlines
Skills
- Proficient in fabricating and assembling upholstered furniture
- Mechanical knowledge to operate hand tools and power tools effectively
- Experience working in a warehouse setting is advantageous
- Ability to sew, cut, and attach fabric or leather with precision
- Capable of heavy lifting when handling furniture pieces
